growing up was a complicated business that has left me with 3 sets of parents, two have one half of the biology (as required!) and the third are a set i chose when i had to leave home.

so this has resulted in a rather large family with numerous surnames; hurt, chalmers, stark, crichton and conn. however each one of them means a lot to me, in many different ways.
