some of the strongest building blocks of our lives
judith bridgland
i met judith through the mini clan, she has a delightful solar yellow mini called edwina, however she is more internationally reknown as a great artist.

rob lightbody
rob is also another mini person, but i meet him before i joined the mini clan (infact he introduced me to it all!). a good and interesting man, from cars to ocean liners. his site is really popular.

david turner
david is a good mate from dunoon, he has the unusual motorised vehicle thing going on, however this time it is a green goddess!

graham twaddle
graham has a good slideline from his day job, as a website designer, in designing websites for small organisations.

i love the news, it enlightens us all
the bbc
this is where i tend to spend my lunchtimes at work, i find it invaluble and it is my home page at home. now i may not agree with the tv licence fee but the beeb is a great asset to the uk.

the guardian
my newspaper of choice and i love the berliner size.

the independent
a close second in my choice of newspaper (was the first until the guardie went berliner), i find that the indie presents a insightful different aspect to the news of the day that challenges and makes me think.

silicon.com
the webiste that i use mostly for i.t. and techie news

the things that pass the time
shadow chasers
this is an egyptology site owned by a friends brother, dave l parker has had several visits to the egypt and has some great ideas.

the mini clan
the clan is scotland's largest mini club, welcoming both classic and new minis.

Mini
the new mini on the web, i think they are great cars.

the mini equinox register
another webiste i do, part time, but it is all about my wee car......

the beltane fire society
edinburgh based, the beltane fire society conducts lavish celebrations on the pagan quarter festivals. they are a sight to behold, truely amazing nights!

the best small country in the world
visit scotland
planning your trip or just want to know what to see, where and when? visit scotland is our offical portal to the world, but it is not always the cheapest way to book accomodation!

some great online tools
google
the search engine of choice? yeah, but what about all that information they now hold about you and that chinese deal? don't be evil, huh?

firefox
firefox is plainly a superior browser to internet explorer 6. saying that, i await ie7 with expectation!

yahoo widgets
this used to be konfabulator and then yahoo got it's hands on it, but they supply desktop widgets for xp and some of them are pretty useful!

digiguide
i don't watch much t.v., in fact it is off most of the time but i do have a few shows i like and digiguide reminds me things are on.

flickr
amazing colaboration, that is the way to decribe flickr. i am sure there are millions of pictures now online through this service, and some of them are incredible and inspiring. you can see all my flickr pics as well!
