i had had some kind of internet site now for longer than i care to remember and things have changed in that time so i suppose i should know what to put here now.......well i don't so it is still a collection of random thoughts about me; where i have been, where i am and where i want to be.

so where did i come from, well it all started in the summer of '74, second kid to maw and paw. all pretty normal and become even more normal when they divorced some 15 years later ;o)

if you so desire, you can see pics and read more about my families here.

today, i am 32 and live in a nice wee flat in scotland's largest city glasgow's city center and work just round the corner for a public sector type company. i admit i really enjoy my work but know that i work to live and, most definitely, not vice versa. you can take that to read "I like my holidaze!"

i have a great group of friends that i do a lot of "hanging about" with. in fact if it were not for the mini lifestyle, coffee-shop culture that has sprung up in the last few years, the many bars of the west end and the wonders of glasgow's museums i would have a lot of time on my hands!

as far as coffee shops go it is the beanscene in the west end of glasgow. a tour de force of good coffee, pastries, soups and baguettes and it is a common hang out for me on sundays! that said i have been known to spending a few hours in the pub every so often and the local is mcphabbs.

as time goes by we learn more about ourselves and i have learned that i am not that into getting the best stuff and staying up with the trends. i am happy with the old as much with the new (in fact i hate buying new clothes until they become familiar friends and become sentimentally attached old friendly objects like tvs....).

i am a relatively spiritual person with my own set of beliefs that are developing with me. i try to meditate daily to sort out the funk from the real stuff.

i also keep a blog about more such stuff, nonsense and burble.
